Coffee is such a fun thing for me. I love to drink it and I love to go on coffee dates, with my parents, friends or my boyfriend. I also love to try new coffee shops all over. I have never really been a Starbucks coffee girly, so I am always wanting to find small, local coffee shops to support instead. So, I wanted to share with you some coffee shops I have tried and loved. (In no particular order).
1. Rambler Coffee – Chula Vista, CA
The Rambler Coffee shop is an adorable, welcoming coffee house near the Chula Vista Bay and bayside park. They have many options for what style of coffee you want, from plain black to flavored lattes – iced or hot. They have many different flavored syrups and milks, including dairy alternatives. Rambler Coffee also offers various teas to chose from, which taste great. This coffee shop also has vintage arcade games, such as Pac-Man, Galaga and more. They also have pinball machines, and a foosball table to use and enjoy. They have seating inside and outside and the vibe is great.

2. WhereUBean Coffee – Phoenix, AZ
Where U Bean Coffee is a cute coffee shop with the best atmosphere located in Phoenix, Arizona. The environment and style of this coffee shop will welcome you in, but the coffee will make you wanna stay… and come back. This fun little coffee house has an amazing accent wall that consists of record’s, CDs, and cassette’s all glued to the wall with a map of the world in the center. They offer all kinds of coffee styles and brews, which all taste amazing. Where U Bean also has a case full of assorted pastries that look and taste delicious. This coffee shop also offers breakfast, such as breakfast sandwiches, burritos, and parfaits. I always have a great experience at Where U Bean Coffee.

3. Social Coffeehouse – Leonardtown, MD
Social Coffeehouse is a little coffee shop and bar in southern Maryland with great coffee, great food and a great atmosphere. I visit this coffeehouse every time I am in Maryland, and I have yet to be disappointed. They have many unique food options to try; I totally recommend the ‘Maryland bagel’. Social Coffeehouse also has adorable indoor and outdoor seating areas. The employees are always kind here and very helpful. I highly recommend the Social Coffeehouse.

4. Highway 61 Coffeehouse – Vicksburg, MS
Highway 61 Coffeehouse is the cutest coffee shop located in a small town in Mississippi. This coffee house has a very inviting and welcoming atmosphere. The employees are so kind and genuine. Highway 61 totally has a southern charm vibe to it and you’ll feel at home here. Their coffee and coffee cake are both so good. The employee brought my coffee and coffee cake to my table and the coffee cake was in a ziplock bag, like I brought it from home, and I thought that was so cute. If you are ever in Vicksburg, I suggest checking out Highway 61 Coffeehouse, you won’t regret it.

5. Pell City Coffee – Pell City, AL
Pell City Coffee is a small coffee shop located in a small town in Alabama. This coffee shop is very cute and cozy. Their coffee taste very good and they offer a lot of different styles of coffee to choose from. However, what I want to highlight the most is their muffins! Pell City Coffee has an array of delicious muffins to try, and I promise you will love them. The owner bakes the muffins right there in the coffee shop, so they are basically homemade! If you ever find yourself at Pell City Coffee, make sure you don’t leave without a muffin.

6. Sundial Coffee & Tea – Surf City, NC
Sundial Coffee & Tea is the sweetest coffee shop in a little beach town in North Carolina. Sundial has great coffee a bunch of yummy baked goods. They sell a sea turtle sugar cookie, and when you purchase that a dollar goes to the sea turtle hospital. Although, along with that cookie they offer a bunch of other delicious treats to try out. This coffee shop also sells paintings and plants. This coffee shop is a must visit if you are ever in Surf City, North Carolina.

7. Diver Surfside Cafe – Surf City, NC
Diver Surfside Cafe is the most beach/coastal style cafe I have ever visited. It is so cute and cozy, the coffee, smoothies, and food is great, and the employees are so kind. This coffee shop looks like it used to be a beach house, and they changed it into a coffee shop. They have a bunch of seating options, inside and outside. Diver Surfside Cafe is definitely at the top of my list for local coffee shops that I have visited, and I recommend you visit it too.

8. Charis Coffee Company – Manteo, NC
Charis Coffee Company is a small local coffee shop on the island of Manteo in North Carolina. It is so cute and has the cutest theme I have seen yet. The word “Charis” means grace, kindness, and life in Greek. This coffee shop has a whole prayer wall for their customers to contribute to. So many people have written on a piece of paper and then stick it to the wall, it is FILLED with prayers and they even have a marker for if you come back and your prayer was answered. I will definitely be returning to this coffee shop next time I am in the area!
